I attended Norwich University of the Arts where I achieved a 1st class degree with honours in Games Art & Design. During my time there, I served as a Student Rep for two years. 

A levels: English, Drama, (Art AS level).
GCSEs: 8 Including Maths, Science and English.

Work History 

Video Game Developer, Self Employed (June 2020 - Present)

Aug 2024 - I’ve released my first indie game in collaboration with Hillfort Games called ‘Ten Bells’. Ten Bells is an anomaly horror game set in an old English pub which features a spooky story. The game has been received very well so far on Steam. Sales have not been enough to sustain self publishing games full time. I contributed half the game design and coding and all the narrative and sound design. 

From Feb 2023 - Feb 2024 I collaborated with JumpButton Studio as a Game Designer on undisclosed projects for Disney, Paramount, and Rovio. I also worked as a Game Director and main developer with a small team on a psychological sci-fi thriller game called ‘Focus Find’.

Territory Support Executive, Vetoquinol UK Ltd  (Sep 2019 - Feb 2023) 
I managed a UK territory, selling pharmaceuticals to veterinary practices. The role entailed introducing new products into practices as well as existing ones and ensuring the yearly budget for the territory was achieved.

Data Analyst, Return on Investment Ltd (Apr 2017 – Sep 2019)
I delivered monthly, weekly and ad hoc reports on Volkswagen Group fleet vehicle demonstrations, providing business intelligence insights at brand and group levels. I also collaborated with developers to update the CRM resulting in increased efficiency and accuracy for reports.

Business Development Executive, Return on Investment Ltd (Jun 2015 – Apr 2017)
I arranged meetings with both prospective and existing clients for Area Fleet Managers within VW Commercial Vehicles. Duties included diary management, prospecting and account management. I trained and supervised junior colleagues across multiple brands including SEAT, ŠKODA, and VW Commercial Vehicles.

Business Development Manager, Probox (Mar - Jun 2015)
I sold bespoke dovetailed drawers tailored to joinery companies and kitchen designers through B2B channels. This involved in depth technical understanding of the product and meticulous input into the CRM system when processing orders.

Graphic Designer, Air Raid Clothing (Apr 2013 - Feb 2015)
I served as the Graphic Designer for Air Raid Clothing, a small online T-shirt company. Duties included designing T-shirts, business cards, web banners, maintaining the design database, fixing print issues, managing Christmas temps and keeping up to date with apparel design and production techniques.

Graphic Artist, The Sunday Times (Jun 2012 - Apr 2013)
I created interactive graphics for the Olympic & Paralympic Games coverage. My work featured in national advertisements for the award-winning iPad app. Other work included maps, charts and graphs for the print and digital editions.

3D Environment Artist, Sony (Sep - Dec 2012) 
For the internship I was responsible for 3D modelling, texturing, and asset integration for the game Killzone Mercenary. My role involved creating components, generating review sheets and seamlessly integrating outsourced assets into the game engine.
 
Call Advisor, BT (Feb 2007 - Jul 2009) 
I worked as a call advisor diagnosing, reporting and assisting customers with landline faults.
 
Retail, Various Companies (2005 - 2012)
Employers include W.H.Smith, Impulse Music and Travel, New Look and Blacks Outdoor Ltd. The jobs required product knowledge, sales skills, till work, cashing up, customer service etc.
 
Hobbies & Interests
As a dad, I love spending time with my son. Making indie games has taken up a large portion of my free time recently.

The Sunday Times team won a SND (Society of News and Design) award for their digital content for the Jubilee, Olympic and Paralympic games
